a shower never felt so good.
Okay so today was my first day of track! it was so good! we had to do some perimeters and i was feeling so good at the end, i ran with another vaulter and i tried to help her keep going cause we had to do four and she was only confident in two but we did it! Afterwards it was such a great feeling. Even though we were practically last to finish, once i was done i just felt fantastic. i was REALLY thirsty but i didn't have a side ache or anything at the end. The coach asked how i was feeling and i'm pretty sure he was talking about my knee but i was just like "really good! not as bad as i thought i'd be! :)" yeah i smiled so i thought i'd just put that in quotes too haha. so then we had to do some sprinting drills over hurdles and stuff that we used to do in summer track but the strides were bigger so it was actually a lot more difficult than with Spokane Track club. But after we did that we were all done. it was not even bad, afterwards my hamstring was kinda cramping up but i think it'll be fine. So all in all it wasn't as killer as i was expecting but it wasn't easy. at this point making the team doesn't feel like it's in the bag, but it's within reach. it's doable. i think. Sooo here goes nothing!

ALSO. my roommates and i have this little wager going involving facebook. so last week remember how i went a whole day without it? well now i'm trying a whole week! my roommates and i are going from sunday to sunday and if anyone caves they have to make dinner for everyone. I don't think i would mind so much making dinner, but i gotta prove to myself that i can be much more productive without facebook (yeah yeah i know, this coming from the girl blogging...). i feel like this is a little more productive cause it just feels like a journal. (a very public journal but oh well. i don't plan on being offensive or embarrassing) but yeah so far i've gone THREE days. awweeee yeeaaahhh. though i've been on twitter a lot more... baha
funny story, last week we went THREE days without toilet paper. it was pretty funny. we all just were being stubborn on who had to get it and one of the roommates was going to make a Costco trip but it didn't end up happening til monday so we got pretty creative. we even resorted to stealing the toilet paper from the guest bathroom in the basement. don't worry, we are now fully stocked up for the year now! if not then at lest for the semester haha

well i am going to go do some research on the benefits of family dinner for my Parenting and Child Guidance research paper. i'll update you tomorrow on how i feel after track!
