diwali festival

so here's the thing. i love living in utah. (i know what you're thinking...how could you love living in the middle of mormon land?! everyone is the same! but before you get all hot and bothered, hear me out)

utah is great for many reasons. 

first- have you seen what these mountains look like??!! have you seen what these mountains look like with snow on them?! yeah, majestic to the maaaaax

second- the Krishna temple is twenty minutes away, and very hospitable to those not in their faith to come and observe. They are more popularly know for their annual festival of colors (to celebrate spring), but i got to witness their Diwali Festival--the Festival of Lights.

On Friday, i went to it. and had a grand time.
