July 12th
sorry this is the post for a few days ago.... We left bath at about
9 am and traveled the cotwolds. It’s this little city that was build in like
the 11th century or earlier, and was abandoned for centuries before
being rediscovered and then it was reinhabitated. It was SOOO picturesque. It
was definitely a retirement community feel and it ws way neat to walk around
ofor the small amount that we did. We came on market day so we got to try some
local cheeses and jams/marmalades and the like. It was verrrry cool and I thought
it couldn’t get cooler

We then went to Stratford upon avon which is
shakespeares birthplace, and burial place. We didn’t want to pay to see all of
that stuff so we walked buy it and just admired the town. It’s pretty cool how
much historical places can be encountered in just a few short drives. We spent
about three hours there. I got some really good ice cream and a cute vintage
scarf. most importantly, we found these little ducklings, and i was wearing my duck shirt. watch out cows, i think ducks have taken the number one spot in my heart.
