saturday in paris
so much paris so little time! It was truly so busy and so wonderful. We started of the day with Sainte Chapelle, i loved it. It was all stain glass and colorful and gaudy in the best way possible. It's said to have Christ's crown of thorns in the treasury so thats pretty neat i'd say. We then made sure to hit up notre dame and view the cathedral and then get a good view of the flying buttresses that make it possible to be so incredibly tall. Afterwards we went to a flea market which was very interesting because the first block was frightening and overstimulating, with people rying to sell you knock off things and touristy things, along with the gypsy's trying to get you to buy things by saying "bling bling lady gaga 4 for 1 euro". It was like night and day when we reached the antique area of town, i mean i was finally comfortable taking my camera out of my back and actually taking a picture. I got a cool print there and then we got some gelato. and i fear i will never stop getting gelato, obesity and diabeties would be worth it to have this for every meal. IT'S THAT GOOD.
