Hey there, Smile Me Pretty readers! My name is Rachel, and I blog over at Rachel Sayumi. I'm so excited to be guest posting on Emma's blog today! She is a multi-talented woman, and seriously has all the skills I so wish I had! Anyways, I am happy to introduce myself to you guys :)
I'm a short, half Japanese, clothes-loving, money-scrimping kinda blogger! I absolutely love clothes, but let's face it-- I got married 8 months ago, and we don't have a ton of moolah hangin' out in our bank accounts! We have rent, books, tuition, groceries, and other things to pay for. I do my best to make the most of the clothes I have, and to find steals among the deals when it comes to shopping. My favorite places to shop are Target, Old Navy, American Eagle, H&M, Forever21, and {the occasional}thrift stores! :) The main focus of my blog is to come up with cute looks for less, but I definitely add in a funny story or recipe here and there :)
I get a lot of inspiration from other bloggers. I think it's so fun when I see someone wearing pieces that I have, but never thought to put together. Of course, I always put my own "Rachel Spin" to it! ;) As a matter of fact, our very own Emma here inspired me with her outfit here! I definitely don't look like a retro babe like her, but well... this is my take!
